1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Howl, a Discord-based cryptocurrency wallet and tipping bot ("the Service"). By inviting Howl to a server or issuing any command to the bot, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Howl Does

Howl gives Discord communities a shared, per-user wallet accessible through chat commands. Through the Service you can:

  • Generate deposit addresses and hold balances across supported networks
  • Withdraw funds to an external wallet address you control
  • Tip, split, or airdrop funds to other members of a server
  • Review your balance and transaction history at any time
  • Take part in giveaways and other community reward events run through the bot

3. Costs

Peer-to-peer tips using Howl never carry a fee. Interacting with on-chain networks incurs specific fees to cover processing & sweep/standard transaction costs.

Global fees

  • Withdrawals: a global bot fee of 0.45% applies to all withdrawals.
  • Deposits: no global bot fee, though network-specific sweep/standard transaction fees apply as detailed below.

Per-coin withdrawal network fees

Deducted in addition to the global bot fee. Some fees are environment-driven and can differ from these defaults at runtime.

Per-coin deposit network fees

  • BCH: 
    estimated 0.00001000 BCH (sweep logic)
  • BTC: 
    estimated 0.00000250 BTC (sweep logic)
  • ETH: 
    0.00010000 ETH fixed deduction (deposits only confirm when live gas is below this cap)
  • LTC: 
    0.00050000 LTC fixed deduction
  • POL and AVAX: 
    dynamic actual gas cost deducted (net transaction only)
  • XRP: 
    no fee deducted, credits the delivered amount
  • XLM: 
    keeps reserve and fee buffer (default 1.01 XLM total not credited)
  • SOL (native): 
    keeps reserve lamports in the user wallet and credits only sweepable SOL, leaving roughly 0.001 SOL depending on rent reserves
  • SOL-USDC and SOL-USDT: 
    no fee if the user holds enough SOL for token transfer gas. If an admin-sponsored sweep is required, the fee is the greater of 1% or 0.02 of the token.
  • TRX (native): 
    leaves a minimum 1.1 TRX reserve in the wallet. If the wallet already holds that minimum, the deposit is credited free.
  • TRX-USDT: 
    no token fee, full amount credited

4. Your Obligations

Using Howl responsibly means you will:

  • Keep the information tied to your account accurate and up to date
  • Protect your Discord login and never share access to your account
  • Avoid using the Service for fraud, money laundering, or any other unlawful purpose
  • Follow the laws that apply to you in your jurisdiction
  • Refrain from probing, exploiting, or interfering with how the Service operates

5. Custody and Wallet Security

Balances held through Howl live in custodial wallets that we manage on your behalf. We take reasonable steps to safeguard these funds, but no system is immune to risk, and cryptocurrency transfers cannot be reversed once broadcast. Securing your Discord account — ideally with two-factor authentication enabled — is your responsibility and the first line of defense for your funds.

6. Withdrawals

Withdrawals are initiated through bot commands or direct messages so that requests stay tied to your verified account. You alone are responsible for entering the correct destination address — funds sent to the wrong address cannot be retrieved by Howl or anyone else.

7. Supported Networks

At present, Howl supports Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Litecoin, Ripple, TRON, Bitcoin, Stellar, and Avalanche. We may add, suspend, or remove support for a given network at any time, with or without prior notice.

8. Market Data

Any prices or conversion rates shown inside Howl are pulled from third-party market data providers (such as the CoinGecko API) and are meant as estimates only. Actual market conditions can differ, and Howl is not responsible for losses caused by discrepancies between displayed and real-world pricing.

9. Availability

We work to keep Howl online and responsive, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows, upgrades, or unexpected outages may take the Service offline temporarily, and we are not liable for any impact this has on you.

10. Disclaimer and Limits on Liability

Howl is offered on an "as available" basis, without guarantees of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service — including lost funds, lost data, or lost profits.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or our practices. Revisions take effect as soon as they are published here, and continuing to use Howl afterward means you accept the updated terms.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may limit, suspend, or end your access to Howl at our discretion, including in response to a violation of these terms, without prior warning.
